The lights are on
THQ has announced today that there will be multiple versions of Darksiders II with assorted bonuses.
The collector's edition, outlined in the image above, will include the limited edition version of the game (outlined below), a life-sized replica Death mask, in-game unique Shadow of Death armor and scythe set (check out what it will look like in the image below), a digital copy of the Darksiders II soundtrack, and a hardcover Darksiders II art book. The collector's edition will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC and it will cost you $99.
The limited edition will be available for all platforms, but it won't cost you any extra. As an incentive for pre-ordering the game and getting right when it comes out, the limited edition of the game will include a code to download the first set of Darksiders II DLC, Argul's Tomb, whenever it becomes available.
Both versions of the game will be available to pre-order from all retailers, and the game will release on June 26.

These collector's editions of games really put a dent in my wallet. This one looks pretty cool though. The mask catches my eye.
What a bunch of great loot and the price isn't that bad too!
i want that mask!!!fack.
SOLD!!!!!!
the mask alone is worth the purchase.
Pretty sexy.
Guess that this will be my first Limited Edition purchase.
I want the art book, soundtrack, and DLC, but I have no need for that mask. I'd like to see a $69.99 or $79.99 version with just those things. I can't afford or store that mask...
Normally, I don't care much for limited edition games...
But I MUST have that mask.
I love if a collectors edition has a replica of some cool in game item/person, like the vault boy or in this case, deaths mask. I don't care much for interviews unless they're included with the base game (like GOW III) or I really like the game, like Fallout 3
god **BRAAAHHHH**....im a sucker for cool a CE
A hundred bucks, eh? I haven't spent that much on a game since I bought the GTA4 special edition. Looks like Darksiders 2 will will be a second time I go all out.
