Dragon's Dogma Demo Coming Soon

Capcom announced it will launch a demo on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the coming months.

The demo allows players to test drive two of the nine character classes and three pawns. With the the rogue-like Strider, you can square off against an airborne Griffin. With the melee-focused Fighter, you go toe to toe with a Chimera in an underground cavern. If you plan to pick up the game anyway, the demo is still worth checking out because you can get a head start on character customization; Capcom is allowing you to import both your playable character and main pawn into the retail version of the game.

Dragon's Dogma ships for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 22 in North America and May 25 in Europe.

  • worth a look
  • I'm still a bit sad that this game isn't coming to PC. Hopefully, Capcom changes their mind, as I wouldn't mind even it came several weeks late or something.

  • I've been on the fence for this one since day one. Hopefully the demo will be what i need to decide one way or the other.
  • Still upset that I have to buy this game just to get early access to the RE6 demo lol. Not only that, but I have to buy it for the 360 since they get it even EARLIER.

Well, at least I'll get to try a new series...and my 360 will finally stop collecting dust.
  • Been anticipating more on this game, looks like a fun departure from hacking at a giant boss's legs.

  • I hope is not the kind of open world that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning had, did not really feel like open world(At least the demo didn't).
  • Yes,I was gonna buy it anyway but now I can try it out.

  • I like the idea of being able to import a created character from a demo into the full game. Capcom is doing it right.
  • After seeing a video where you can pick people up and throw them off cliffs, there's no way I'm letting this slip by me.
  • I have high hopes for this game. Capcom generally puts out a pretty good product. I wonder how it'll hold up to the likes of, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?
  • I'll definitly get the demo when it comes out. Haven't heard a whole lot about the game so it might make me decide to buy. Letting you import your demo is a nice touch as well.
  • I'm pretty excited for this game. And I really like the look of the monsters.

  • this game will be a hit.  got a good feeling.  can't wait.

  • Darn! I saw this and was hoping it would be an online multiplayer action-RPG like monster Hunter. Monster Hunter would be so much better with voice chat, only in Japan...

  • I'm excited to give this a try. I've been interested since i saw the first articles about it.

  • cool, i might check this out

  • If you guys haven't seen this yet take a look. Lots of gameplay and questions answered. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOgchg-az9k
  • From what I've seen, this game might deserve a chance. I'm really looking forward to playing this demo when it releases.

  • Cool, this is one I've been watching, it'd be good to give it a test drive.

  • The demo should sway me, not sure if i want this one or not. Only thing that sparked my interest was the fact that you get the RE6 demo with it (:
