Apple today confirmed it will hold an iPad press conference in San Francisco next Wednesday. It's expected the company will unveil its latest touch device.

No details about the event were revealed in the invitation except Apple saying it has "something you really have to see. And touch." We'll have all the details from the conference on March 7.

Meh. I never really cared for the Ipad. Don't get me wrong, it's cool... but just isn't something I would care to use unless I want to waste time.

The lack of a physical button worries me, you can't depend so much on software. I can't tell you how many times i've had to use the home button to unfreeze an app or restart my ipot touch. Not a good move in my book.

wow another one, and the first generation would still be expensive. but rumor is that only going to be a ipad sized between the full sized and the touch (kindle fire size i think.)

Apple is like the Activision of mobile hardware.

(not saying that they don't improve things--because they DO improve a lot, but still.)
