Does anyone else see a potential problem with this kickstarter idea? Ok, so Tons of people donated "buying into" the project, now they have a couple million dollars of dispensable income to fund other projects (such as this one) not to mention the fact that they will be collecting interest or investing the funds they have acquired in the mean time until they finally decide to "imagine" the project they have our funding for. What if a company were to tank in the interim between acquisition of funds and project completion? Of course this experiment has become a really attractive way for other studios to seek funding.... this becoming the norm scares me....

I don't want to get into maybe's, but wasn't their some kind of agreement when the donations were accepted? Either way, you have thousands of givers and one taker who has stated at least a rough idea of what your donations have purchased. I think that if anything were to happen that would be enough to pursue some kind of legal action.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Nobody has done anything wrong, and good faith should be given otherwise.
