The lights are on
You've read our cover story on The Last of Us. You've followed our month-long online coverage. Now's your chance to ask the creative minds behind the game your burning questions.
We'll be recording a podcast with creative director Neil Druckmann (on the right) and (possibly) game director Bruce Straley very soon and you, the readers, get to ask all of the questions. Leave yours in the comments below and we'll try to get to as many as we can.
So what do you want to know about The Last of Us?
Email the author Bryan Vore, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
Is The Last of Us going to support the trophy system?
Was Ellen Page some kind of inspiration for modeling Ellie? Because there is an undeniable resemblance to the actress.
When is the last of us going to be release?
if you cannot reveal at this time can you give us a time frame?
You have stated that you are using the inspired "More is less" approach. With this, do you think that you will really be able to make a difference in the way that us gamers play and experience survival horror games? What gameplay additions could you speak of that you really feel will help get you approach conveyed?
How do you feel that The last of us has just about the same setup as Bioshock Infinite, jut in a different setting? Both games have a man saving and protecting a girl from some group of people, while Ellie and Elizabeth will play almost the same role in combat and gameplay. Do you think this setup could become mainstream with these two big titles?
Will the The Last of Us control similar to Uncharted or will it be will be more akin to a game like Gears of War with a greater emphasis on weight?
Is there any co-op or multiplayer?
Have involved is the second Naughty Dog team on the game?
When will it be released?
And by the way - Great job Naughty Dog, you have also made some fantastic games and thats why I have every Naughty Dog title and The Last Us will look good in my collection as well!
Will The Last of Us be the last game made by you for the PlayStation 3 until PlayStation 4? I honestly think Uncharted has achieved it's goals on PlayStation 3, so Uncharted 4 would better suit for a PlayStation 4 release. With that in mind, is it possible you will finish off your days on the PlayStation 3 with a new Jak and Daxter game?
More on gameplay mechanics?
How will it play?
Are you all wizards? Seriously though, how much content can we expect in the game? Will it have longevity?
Did you mean for Joel to have a resemblance to Llewlyn Moss from No Country For Old Men?
Are you guys leaning more towards the story rather then the action?
will you make the game tall more than uncharted ??
Is the story powerfull enough to make me cry like in Metal Gear Solid series? Story is, perhaps, the most important thing in a GOOD and UNIQUE game.
Is this game going to be highly cinematic and shooting-fest filled game, or are you going for a less-Uncharted like game with some Uncharted elements?
