The lights are on
You've read our cover story on The Last of Us. You've followed our month-long online coverage. Now's your chance to ask the creative minds behind the game your burning questions.
We'll be recording a podcast with creative director Neil Druckmann (on the right) and (possibly) game director Bruce Straley very soon and you, the readers, get to ask all of the questions. Leave yours in the comments below and we'll try to get to as many as we can.
So what do you want to know about The Last of Us?
Email the author Bryan Vore, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
What did you have for breakfeast? I hope it was delicious.
Has your gaming development affected the way you play, such as knowing when and where enemies might spawn or figuring out puzzles or game mechanics quicker than just a regular hardcore gamer?
I don't have any questions anymore: just tell them to keep up the good work so I can buy a quality game when it releases.
will there be a primary antagonist? how will the survival aspects of the game work (as implied in the trailer, stuff like looting corpses)
How glad were you guys that "The Last of Us" was able to be kept secret for so long?
Okay, I've got one: You've mentioned before that the main enemies in The Last of Us aren't necessarily going to be the fungi-infected "zombies" but rather other human survivors. If most of the enemies are going to be other humans, how are you going to handle the issue of having enough enemy variety to keep things interesting and engaging? One of my favorite aspects of Uncharted 2 is that the game is constantly throwing new enemy types at you in the form of heavily armored enemies or enemies with riot shields. It seems like apocalypse survivors won't have as robust of an arsenal as an army of mercs. Will all of the enemy variety be from switching between the zombies and the humans or are you handling it in another fashion?
Will you hire me?
What do you think you would be working on if you had not decided to create the Last of Us?
If a movie was to be made out of this game, would Gerald Butler play the part of Joel?
Is there anything planned for GDC?
