The lights are on
After users reported numerous errors, PlayStation has pulled the Facebook app for the Vita.
"The Facebook application for PS Vita is not available at this point in time," Sony said in a statement given to Game Informer. "We are currently looking into this to restore it to normal operational status. We will announce further details when ready."
Eurogamer first reported that the app had been removed from the European store. When users attempt to log into Facebook through the app they see error code NP-13144-3 and are unable to do anything but close the program.
is it just me, or do all facebook apps suck? jeez that iphone app is godawful, same with the droid one. and the messager app never works. ever. at all.
Ouch... people are going to get antsy without being able to check status updates on their gaming device.
facebook always makes terrible apps
At least they are amending to it. Things like this can't always be fixed beforehand. :|
Eh, doesn't need it anyway. It's a console, just give us games.
While vacuuming out a car today at my job, I saw a kid playing the vita (my first time seeing it in action). As expected, uncharted was on the screen and I have to say I'm really impressed. Who needs facebook?
so, I wasn't the only person having problems, and I'm glad to hear that's getting fixed. but how do I erase it?
so whats the sale numbers on the vita so far in america.
