I don't know how much good is going to come out of a new one. They've already traveled the prequel route, and he's already killed all of the major gods. I hope this doesn't ruin the series.

I never was too hyped about God of War (despite my love for mythology). I was always interested in the stories, but I prefer less linear games, for the most part. Also, Celtic mythology is best mythology.

WHAT?! They're making God of War 4? Nobody tells me anything anymore.

It doesn't matter what its about or how it will play. GOW 3 had great graphics but same washed out gameplay from one and two. They just couldn't let a game end in a great trilogy like it should *cough Halo *cough AC. I am a big fan of GOW but I will not buy this game for the sake of destroying a great legacy for the sake of milking the franchise for money. ***, will they ever stop making these *** games?!

I think it would be cool if they incorporated into the story, after the downfall of the Greek pantheon, a new pantheon of Gods took over control of the world (be it Norse, Egyptian, what have you). Kratos, being immortal as he has become a God, would return once they became so corrupted that they too had to be overthrown.

Sony is the worst whenever it comes to keeping secrets. Remember PS3 slim, PSPgo, LBP Kart and many other things that got leaked out before Sony actually announced them.

I didn't think the story from GoW 1 necessitated a sequel but I'm glad it happened, although I really fon't see where the story could go, unless it's a prequel or something.

February 2013 eh? I'll be sure to put some money back...the series only got better with each sequel, with GoW3 getting a perfect 10 from GI. Along with many others, I would love it if they jumped to Norse mythology, particularly because I am of Norse descent. Marvel's Thor was great, a Viking-laced God of War would be legendary!

I just hope the boss system doesn't work like it did in 3. The bigger the boss (poseidon, cronos, ect.) the easier they were to kill The smaller the boss (hermes, hercules, ect.) the more difficult they were to kill.

Honestly, I'm sick of the series. The combat is always the same, and the story has some nice twists, but I don't care about the characters enough to care about them.
