South African Retailer Outs Existence of God of War 4

The fact that Sony is working on God of War 4 is becoming the worst-kept secret in the game industry. Today, a South African game retailer put up a page taking preorders for the game on its website.

The chain, BT Games, has revealed unannounced games before, including the Jak and Daxter Collection.

This seems to corroborate the claims by composer Timothy Williams that he's working on the soundtrack to God of War 4.

  • i would love a god of war 4, but i'm nervous that it might ruin the series. where would the story go?
  • God, yes!
  • I'm completely on board for a 4th installment, bring it on!

  • I really need to play the other God of War games.
  • Who is left to kill? Are they going to do a different mythology like Egypt?
  • Time for a GoW marathon to prepare! HOLD. DEVILS. POT OF TEA!
  • They need to make Norse God of War; Norse mythology is awesome.
  • I would love it if God of War 4 went after the Roman gods and godesess, like Venus, Jupiter, the other ones I can't think of. Just as long as Sony Santa Moncia develops it.
  • Personally by the end of the 3rd game I was tired of the combat and quick time events. hopefully for the 4th they bring some new twists.
  • Lol that is a fail

  • Lol that is a fail

  • Damn you PlayStation exclusives!

  • that seems illegal but awsome!

  • Didn't Kratos already kill all of the Gods?

  • Ohhhhhh Hell yea!!! (I'm a GOW nut)
  • Well they can't rely on nothing other than upping the graphics to make it better, lets see if they can actually improve the series, the first to were great but three changed almost nothing, if they can improve the series I'll approve, if they can't it's a shame...
  • Theres already trailers leaked on the tube
  • Well naturally...

Yeah, it's going to make a hell of a lot of sense when he turns up in Egypt or Norse mythology. You'd think there would be a written record or something.

My question is, when does it get tiring?
  • This is cool news since I just beat Chains of Olympus and am now wrapping up Ghost of Sparta. I'm going to need more God of War soon.

  • ...What's he going to do, rebuild...everything?!? Or destroy whatever the hell we were left with at the end of 3 and disappear into a black void. I've heard of sequels being taken too far, but sheesh.
