Game of Thrones Art Book Revealed

Atlus today unveiled the hardcover, limited pre-order bonus art book for Game of Thrones.

The publisher says it's only available from select retailers while limited supplies last and "stands as one of Atlus' finest bonuses to date." The book offers sixty-four color pages of sketches, renders, photos, and screenshots from the game with text and commentary from the developers. The PC version will be digital-only.

The book also includes rare items, like a signed portrait of the development team. "Everything about this premium art book is above and beyond the typical pre-order bonus, and all at no additional cost to the customer," Atlus said.

"Its larger dimensions, page count, hardcover binding, and exceptional print quality are more in line with what fans would expect from a Deluxe Edition extra or a separate purchase."

Game of Thrones is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC May 15.

    I never heard of this game, can someone tell about it, i like art books, but is it worth it?

    Looks cool, my question though is, does it go by the book or is it its own story? The book was pretty great but I don't know how the game will stand though from what I've seen thus far seems good.

    the books are amazing. I can only hope the game is on par with them (at least in terms of story). If they do the books justice they can potentially draw from the huge fan base and the game could be somewhat successful. I am looking forward to trying it out.

    Lol the cover makes me sad. This game could actually be pretty cool but surely they can do more than slap the iron throne on it.

    For a second I thought this was included in the Blu ray that comes out next month. Hmm, I don't know, this game doesn't sound like it'll do the series justice.

    I can't not get this game. A Song of Ice and Fire is my favorite book series. I still haven't seen the show though, been looking forward to a blu-ray release of the first season.

    If anyone hasn't read these books, you are seriously doing yourself a disservice.

    Does anyone know if this art book comes with pre-orders of a special edition? Or do you have to preorder the book itself?

    Well, that is a pretty sweet looking art book. At no additional cost! Problem is, the game probably won't be very good, so it won't stay $60 for long. Chances are, unless you need to have it right away, you actually are losing money by buying it early at full price.

    Not to mention, it might not even be worth playing.

    Awesome!!! I actually am currently read the series and A Game of Thrones is my favorite book!! I love this so much!!!
