The lights are on
One of the best original PlayStation strategy games is now available on iPad, Square Enix announced today.
Priced at $17.99, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is a re-release of the 2007 PSP title with added features, such as new cut scenes, scenarios and jobs. An iPhone version was released late last year.
You can download the game here.
Square Enix says the original 1997 game has sold 2.7 million copies worldwide.
Awesomesauce.
I have the game for PSP. It's pretty fun!
awesome. >.< still have the one that came out on PS1.
*Cheers* Gratz to ya Ipad Users! You're in for a treat!
Alas, I can't afford an Ipad... but I gotta Gaming PC, PS3, & 3DS, so i'm not bad off. ;)
I play this on my psp all the time, love it.
I could see how the touch-screen functionality would probably streamline gameplay quite a bit. You touch a unit to see its range of movement, you touch anywhere within its range movement to move it to that spot. Select an ability to see the range of attack, tap any target in that range to execute the attack. I imagine that would feel very natural for the style of gameplay. But I don't have an iPad, and I have no interest in getting iPad, so...
too expensive and not worth it..this game can be bought on other support for cheaper, such as ps1, ds etc
I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner...
18 bucks!!?? what the hell!! no way I'm paying that for a game that is as old as dirt.
I loved this game. It's hands down of my favorite Final Fantasy games of all time.
Love this game! That's just awesome that it got ported over.
ill check it out.
If I had an Ipad I would play the hell out of that game again.
