The lights are on
The next Medal of Honor game is coming this October.
According to the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, the game is called Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The sequel to the 2010 reboot is again being developed by Danger Close studios and follows the story of Tier 1 Operators. Multiplayer is being developed in house this time, not by DICE.
The game also uses the Frostbite 2.0 engine, the same engine that powered Battlefield 3.
EA will have more to show at the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco next month. In the meantime, check out the new OXM for more details, interviews, and screenshots.
The first image of the game was posted on the official Medal of Honor website today.

I'm impressed by Danger Close. They've said that they have listened fully to the fans and know what they need to fix and build upon. Medal of Honor was incredible, and things can only go up. I'm also happy to know that Danger Close is building the multiplayer. Nothing bad against DICE, I just felt like it was too much of the same compared to BF. Either way, I have high hoes for this one!

Kind of glad DICE won't be doing MP. Leaves them time to work on a new Bad Company game.
I hope that Frostbit 2 engine will be utilized more unlike the previous MoH.
picked it up used. thought the campaign was decent. multiplayer was good enough once i got used to it, and it kept me busy till battlefield3 released since the bad company servers were down for like 2 months before battlefield released. thought danger close did a good job. cant wait to see em really flex some muscle and see what they can really do now that they have broken their teeth on a MoH game already.
Since i don't want to be part of the (most of the time) immature and annoying fps community i'll give this a rent, but depending on how good it is i might just get it.
Ill buy it. I liked MOH.

Hopes it's better than the last version. The campaign was short and fairly boring, and MP had good gameplay, but lacked depth big time.

The single player for the reboot i thought was really good, but i thought the mulitiplayer was garbage.
Let us hope this is better than the last entry in the series.
