Naughty Dog Has 'No Plans' To Develop On Vita
The Last of Us and Uncharted developer Naughty Dog is currently not working on any PlayStation Vita titles. In a recent interview with GameTrailers, Sony SVP of brand marketing Guy Longworth seemed to have implied the studio was developing a title for the new handheld, but it appears to be a misunderstanding.
"We're not working on anything for PS Vita," said Naughty Dog community manager Arne Meyer. "I won't say never, ever, but there's no plans for it right now - we've always felt that consoles play to our strengths as a studio the best.
"We've never made a handheld game, so us saying we're not working on anything at the moment shouldn't be some earth shattering surprise."
Uncharted: Golden Abyss for Vita was developed by Sony Bend Studio and overseen by Naughty Dog.
