  • Looks cool, I wonder if I can run it though. I should be able to since the only PC game I play is Battlestar Galactica Online right?

  • I'm nervous about free to play things, especially strategy games.

I'd hate to see like "Sure this game is free to play, but you need to pay 1.99 per ton for any mech over a Jenner."

  • MechWarrior Tactics. If it's anything like MechCommander, I'm sold. I'd love to tear it up as a proud member of Ghost Bear again!
  • Could be cool. Depends on execution

  • 3025 and the best weapons we have are mechs? I was sure we'd be blowing stuff up with our minds by that point.
  • This sounds like it could easily become Pay-to-Win: The Game, but excited nonetheless.
  • Ive always wanted to give the table top BattleTech game a try but never wanted to shell out the money for it. Consider me interested, I will give it a try. Here is hoping it is good and the F2P element doesn't break the balance.
  • "Reign of Thunder"

    Learn about it.....

  • Mech+Warrior+Strategy=BAM=MechWarriors Tactics.

  • The mech in the front, is that supposed to be a atlas? the skull sure fits but what's with the giant weapons in the arms and that shoulder cannon?
  • Holy ***. Battletech is coming back, friends. Two games in one year? Here's to hoping that these are a success so that Jordan can take this to a publisher and get some funding for a full fledged game, like we were hoping for last year with that *** CG movie.
  • I see an Atlas, an Awesome, another Awesome, A Jenner (or Firefly, can't tell its a sideways angle), another Awesome, a Jenner, a Centurion (i think)or an Orion, and I think the mech in the very back is a 3060 mech, can't remember the name of it. If it takes place in 3025 then it isn't but it sure looks like one. Might be a Dragon or Grand Dragon (K i'm a BT fanatic but even I can't memorize the exact profiles of all hundreds of mech designs)
  • Yes while it was announced yesterday many of us knew about it i already made an account before this story and knew that mechwarrior would be a free to play strategy game

  • Yeah, I already registered the name "Commander Garrus."

  • I wonder how they're going to make money on this game. Advertisements? Microtransactions? That's what'll determine how many people will play this.
  • Hope this is out around summer when my game playing turns into replaying games for second and third playthroughs lol

  • Commander Merryman. <3  'Cuz I'm a merryman. :D

  • This totally looks like a ported shiny version of the game Front Mission on the PS1. Which is cool I guess, I mean I personally loved that game, I guess I was just expecting something more.

Still waiting on more news of what happened to the new Mech Warrior reboot title that was supposed to come out for X360 PS3 and PC that they were talking about like a year ago.

  • Sweet nectar! Big mech game fan but it's been a long while before I've had a reason to pick up this genre again. I, like others, am not a fan of "free" to play. The term is misleading and the pricing structure is wraith with conflicts of interest between players and the devs.  I will wait to read reviews and research the pricing setup.

  • Wooooooahhhhhaaaa could this be the long awaited remake of the legendary classic Amiga game MechForce?
