Report: Seaman Coming To 3DS

According to a report from Japanese newspaper Nikkei, Nintendo will release a version of Seaman for the 3DS.

Nikkei, via Andriasang, mentioned Seaman as part of a general report about Nintendo's earnings and future prospects, which included reviving other publisher's titles on the 3DS. Creator Yoot Saito nearly two years ago that Seaman, originally released on Dreamcast, could come to 3DS.

Game Informer reached out to SEGA and Nintendo for comment.

Awww sweet. I wonder how many other Dreamcast/GameCube/N64/Saturn titles are waiting in the wings to be recrafted or ported for the 3DS.

Probably way too many N64 games and not enough Dreamcast games.

That thing in the picture is freaky. *Shudders* I don't think I would buy Seaman, mainly because I don't know what it's about, but, if it is about catching fish, then I am definitely not buying it. EDIT: I just looked up Seaman on Wikipedia and it says that Seaman is a virtual pet game. It seems like a very weird video game, and I don't think i'm going to buy it.
