The lights are on
Though it's been out for only 48 hours, the PC version of Alan Wake has already recouped development and marketing costs for Remedy.
"We are very happy with the sales and hitting #1 on Steam at launch was nothing short of amazing," Remedy said on its forums. "We recouped our development and marketing expenses during the first 48 hours. And yes, we're certainly very excited about PC."
Alan Wake's American Nightmare, a download-only follow up, is due out this Wednesday for Xbox 360.
holy poop!
Man, I think this game has had more hype than the original. Sure hope it keeps up with expectations...
As well it should; the game is awesome!
PC community are stupid.now they buy the games but most of the time they stole games they play. so in the end DEv don't want to produce on pc and PC gamer keeps crying for a port.
I thought Alan Wake was supposed to be experienced with a controller and a large screen.
