Kingdom Hearts 3D Will Feature Elements Of Tron: Legacy

Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance will feature characters and settings from the 2010 film, Tron: Legacy.

The Tron world will be called The Grid, and will feature appearances by Kevin and Sam Flynn, and Quorra. The news comes from the Japanese publication Jump, which has screenshots from the game showing off the aforementioned characters.

Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance, a title that is 32 characters long (not including spaces) and nine total syllables, will release in North America sometime this year.

I'm still surprised at how many people don't realize that these handheld games are VERY important to the story (well... maybe not Coded, I haven't played that one). If people just jump into KH3 without playing these handheld games, they're not going to have any f***ing clue what's going on. Just ask the people who played KH2 without first playing Chain of Memories.

It seems like the logical next step, Kingdom Hearts 2 had the original Tron and Tron Legacy has since been released. I like Tron and I don't mind this at all... but the Tron characters don't fit in at all with Kingdom Hearts characters. The realistic faces next to cartoony faces looks really weird.

With the numerous accounts and events, an expansion for the stories behind Kingdom Hearts as a whole is necessary. However, after all these visits to alternate universes in the Disney world, I'm sure they'll come up with a KH3 and hopefully soon.
