Really? Huh.. Releasing it a year after they just released one.. Game companies really need to stop doing this.. If they would put more than a year of work into a game it would probably be even more awesome. Oh well.. Just glad I didnt buy revelations. Not that it wasnt good, its just the fact that AC3 is coming out this year anyway.

Skip this tired series and bring back a Splinter Cell that more closely personifies the Sam Fisher we knew on the original Xbox. Splinter Cell reached a height in Chaos Theory that neither Ezio or Altair could ever hope to climb.

I feel like for this game to really represent the series well, Ubisoft is going to have to really bring something new to the table. This cannot be Assassins Creed Revelations with a few new gimmicks and the ending of the story. People are getting tired of the same old formula just repackaged. Hopefully they can step up to the plate.

well, As much as i love AC, i hope the series doesnt become so monotonous and dried up like call of duty, I am curious about where this one will take place, but i welcome another AC game. I always thought an AC in futile japan would be cool, i cant wait to see whats in store.

I had a little bit of hope that the pic would be for ACIII. Part of me knew better though. Can't wait to see the ACIII gameinformer!! Probably a month or two away?

I'm hoping that it doesn't suck or is as lame as Revelations, because it did not compare to ACII or even Brotherhood for that matter. They got to stop putting so much emphasis on multiplayer and focus more on single player

Thank god. I first went to IGN to check out the news and I was excited. I looked at the comments and saw the endless amounts of hateful and stupid comments people were posting. I mean seriously. The comments were either talking trash about ubisoft or really dumb comments like this: "Lol! I pray that doens't mean Mass Effect 3 will be crap. Nothing about the time period it will be set in, but it is highly likely for AC3 to be set in 1700 America." I won't state the guy's name but really? How dumb can you get? Anyway good to see loyal AC fans here at GI (with the exception of a few people) that know what they are talking about. Oh and can't wait for AC3!

Fact: It is good to know that the team has been working on this title for 3 years.

i liked brotherhood. but it seems that every game is the same with a couple added things in my opinion. i dont think i can play another one.unless its completely different.

Also the next person to complain about Ubisoft's yearly release for AC games is going to get punched in the face. If you have played the AC games and have a legitimate reason for your complaining, then please do tell.

YESS to be honest i can't wait for this, the yearly release thing is great cos u get answers faster n its as a storyline so it kicks cods ass easy.

with the way revelations ended ye surely it will mostly revolve around desmond and we will get a new historical character but i think if its the american revolution or ww2??? then it will completely ruin the game :(

my oppinion is that it shud b either ancient japan (ninja assassin :), shurikens, samurai swords and better fighting skills :D)

oorrr the french revolution cos they had sum *** things happenin then n the french av sum nasty ways 2 kill, also they may be able 2 tie sum ov da vinci's paintings into the new game 4 a few secret weapons :)
