The lights are on
The development super team put together at 38 Studios isn't one and done, at least according to owner Curt Schilling.
Appearing on Late Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, Schilling responded to a comment that a sequel for Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning is in the works. He said, "Oh yeah" and added "[38 Studios] was built to be something that stays around and becomes huge."
In the interview, Schilling added that it took a total of five years and a lot of money to develop the game. The studio also has its long-developed MMO, Project Copernicus, still in the pipeline.
Game Informer has contacted 38 Studios for comment declined to offer further comment. Hit up the video for more on Schilling's interview with Fallon right here.
Honestly maybe i did not play it enough but the demo for this game seemed like absolute ***. Like Worst RPG of the last 5 years ***.
I hope so this game is so much fun
it should and MUST get a sequel, i dont care on this gen or the next one, i just want a sequel or a prequel, i dont care..too good of a game...just fix the small bugs and the other little issues and u will struck gold...again!! and i will give u my cash volontarily for a new game...
I think its funny Schilling is the owner. When i heard he was behind a video game I assumed it had something to do with baseball, or at least sports. I'll have to try out the demo. The RPG/God of war style combos and attacks is very interesting
I just hope they kinda make the art style more appealing this time around, I love Todd and some of the monsters look great but whenever I play I just get that "generic fantasy" feel from it.
