Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Sequel Arriving This Holiday

While most games are announced via press releases or reveal trailers, news of an upcoming sequel broke this week at a Toy Fair in New York City. Kotaku is reporting that toys based on a Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing sequel were on display at the event, where a booth attendant confirmed the game's existence.

No further details were revealed, outside of the game's planned holiday release.

Stick with the side scroll Sonic's. Those were by far the best representation of Sonic.

I tried a demo of it, and it actually wasn't bad. It's probably the closest thing there is to an HD Mario Kart until the inevitable Wii U version comes out.

This was a fun racing game, honestly my son and I enjoyed the crap out of it on both PS3 and 360. I dunno if it deserves a sequel tho, but I'd be willing to try it out to decide if it worth buying.
