Double Fine Raises Over $1 Million In Less Than 24 Hours

Less than 24 hours after revealing a Kickstarter page for a new point-and-click adventure game, developer Double Fine has exceeded $1 million in pledged money from over 25,000 eager fans.

In an update earlier today after reaching their $400,000 goal, Double Fine said that additional funds would be put toward making the game and the documentary being created around it better as well as putting it out on more platforms, in more languages, and more.

Though they've already shot well past their goal, the Double Fine Adventure Kickstarter will remain active for just over a month yet. Take a look at the Kickstarter page for yourself if you're interested in contributing, and congratulations to the fine folks over at Double Fine.

  • Imagine how pissed all those people would be if the game stunk.
  • What...the helll...o_o AND THERE'S STILL 33 DAYS TO GO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • How about using some of that extra moolah to work on a certain other game. A certain game that would be a sequel to a last gen classic. A certain game that rhymes with Shmyshmoshnauts. How about it, Tim?
