Good to hear. Not a BF3 player myself, but some my friends have had those issues in the past, so hopefully this will fix it for them.

I usually use team spreak anyway, but the dozen or so times I played with the built-in VOIP I never ran into any difficulties, so I cant really speak from experience about other peoples issue... I guess I should count myself one of the lucky few.

Oh sweet Jesus, It's finally here.  Only took 3 1/2 months, and it probably isn't going to work... but at least they released SOMETHING!  I swear, they really dropped the ball on this one, but I'm excited to finally be able to communicate with my teammates.  VoIP has been unusable up until this point for me.

I don't need no stinkin' Bluetooth. Playstation Eye ftw!

Finally...now I can start playing Battlefield 3 again. What about private servers?! This was lauded as the ultimate team-based FPS prior to release but yet you cannot even conduct proper clan matches or internal scrims with your clanmates without jumping through ridiculous server browser hoops...and even then it is not a gurantee. Lets get on it DICE...your fantasic gameplay needs all the bells and whistles or else it will suffer from longevity issues. Sad but true :(

HOW ABOUT THE FIX THE *** SQUAD BUG THAT THEY HAVE HAD SINCE LAUNCH ON THE 360!!!!

Good ol EA taking there sweet time on fixing stuff that should have been addressed on BF3 lanch date but no it takes 3.5 months to fix a bug they should of known about durring testing. This is why the better game can't dethrone the cod franchise that addresses issues the moment they arise. EA games are never up to working par untill six months after launch date, it almost took BF2 a year before it was tollerable to play without glitches you think they would of learned form that.

Now if they could only add actual teamplay, good shooting and good graphics into the game...

And what was this games goals again?..to beat who? and be the best at what?..try again!!

Finally, I have been complaining about this since the beta days. Even through the official release it wasn't fixed.

wow thank you!!! this the reason why i stop playing bf3. AT time u hear gunshot then next thing you know. It cut off you get piss.. Because you bought headphone for a reason. Not to hear yoour own gunshot. I want to hear footsteps not getting knife

The PS3 really does have issues with voice, how long has DCUO been out for and the voice on that still doesn't work properly! Hope this patch sorts things for the station BF3 players.
