The lights are on
After the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim shipped, the team at Bethesda took a week to do whatever they wanted and create content they could add to the game in the future.
As revealed during Todd Howard's keynote speech at DICE, the team designed all kinds of content, including dragon mounts, house building, and spears! Howard prefaced this reveal by saying none of this content is confirmed, and that it may or may not ever come out for public consumption.
The video shown during the keynote can be seen archived on GameSpot. Check it out below. It begins at around the 41:00 minute mark. Here is the list of features that could be added down the road:
I vote for enhancement to character facial expressions.
All of those features need to be added to the game. It would just make it even more awesome.
So this is what ninjas at Beth do in their free time...
aw man no giant mud crabs yet! this sucks
I'm all for snow footprints and spears.
GIMME 'DEM SPEARS! D:<
That was nice
Some of these features sound really neat, like spears, a lycanthropy perk tree, getting to build your own house, and whatever "Assassin Vision" is. If they released a DLC update or expansion that had these and other features I'd gladly pay for it.
Dragon mounts would be epic!
Ha ha...at first I thought it read "Enhanced Underwear Visuals". Which wouldn't necessarily be bad either.
All of that needs to be implemented. It is all extremely cool. Do you hear Bethesda?! Get on that right meow!
Awesome stuff. The flow based shader for water was really great, and the kill cams for ranged and magic are an absolute must!
What an epic ending!
please add the dragon mount, kill cam, follower commands, and spell combos. I'll pay for the privilege.
Some very cool and unique ideas, like the spell combinations. Some of this stuff should have been in the original release, though. Like footprints in the snow.
If they can do all of that in a week. I would love all of that in the game. I think Dragon Mounts might be a little far fetched but everything else.
GIANT MUDCRABS? AWESOME!
