The lights are on
After the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim shipped, the team at Bethesda took a week to do whatever they wanted and create content they could add to the game in the future.
As revealed during Todd Howard's keynote speech at DICE, the team designed all kinds of content, including dragon mounts, house building, and spears! Howard prefaced this reveal by saying none of this content is confirmed, and that it may or may not ever come out for public consumption.
The video shown during the keynote can be seen archived on GameSpot. Check it out below. It begins at around the 41:00 minute mark. Here is the list of features that could be added down the road:
What I want to see more than anything else is a Fallout New Vegas style Hardcore Mode for console DLC.

Video's private...?
Holy crap riding your dragon mount while taking out a werebear!!! Yes please.
All of those ideas are fantastic. Here's hoping that all of them will be implemented!
If they don't at least add spears then Bethesda is lazy.
Epic new mounts? Does that mean I can ride a bear? Because I want that, I really want that.
All of that sounds amazing besides the "darker dungeons" idea. I don't know about you guys, but there are some dungeons where I have to turn the brightness all the way up on my television set just to see without using a candle light spell. I thought it might be my television because I just bought the PlayStation 3D display, but no other games are extremely dark like Skyrim is when inside most dungeons.
yes please!
Video Private?????
I traded my Skyrim in to fast. Oh well I got Mass Effect 3 payed off with it anyway.
that's a pretty effing epic list
no manbearpig?
It'd be nice if you could craft arrows. Another thing is I wish when I had a flame spell equipped when in a dungeon that the spell would actually illuminate my surroundings a bit. I realize Arcania Gothic 4 is not Skyrim but even that game got it right.
bro, the video is apparently private
For those who want to watch the video, you can go right to gamespot and watch the video off their player.
