The lights are on
After the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim shipped, the team at Bethesda took a week to do whatever they wanted and create content they could add to the game in the future.
As revealed during Todd Howard's keynote speech at DICE, the team designed all kinds of content, including dragon mounts, house building, and spears! Howard prefaced this reveal by saying none of this content is confirmed, and that it may or may not ever come out for public consumption.
The video shown during the keynote can be seen archived on GameSpot. Check it out below. It begins at around the 41:00 minute mark. Here is the list of features that could be added down the road:
...And a giant effing Mudcrab.
I would love all these changes but i would also like multiplayer on systems and on pc without mods
Video is set to private...
Spears and dragon mounts plus SSAO sound awesome though!
Video's private. Thanks.
I support all of these, especially the goblins and environmental changes. The spears would be cool as a long-reach weapon, but I want to see the ability to throw them as well and then retrieve it from a corpse.
....is it wierd that spears were the things that got me most excited?
These are all great ideas. I especially like the pitch-dark dungeons, the combination spells (I was kind of disappointed that there weren't any) and the spears (I'd like to see more options in combat than just upgrades to ones you already have). And, even though I play on PS3, the shout feature seems kind of cool, if no one is around to hear you shout Fus Ro Dah at your TV over and over.
I want skyrim DLC so bad. That game is terrible. I am completely addicted. I'd pay 15$ for some new DLC, no questions asked. Sad.
Spears would be amazing but first lets get the bugs to minimal, more content equals more bugs and we have quite a few still lol
sounds interesting, hope the first DLC is the best bethesda DLC of all time lol
A lot of this could put this game on a plateau above all others. I'll have to watch the Keynote when I find some free time.
you had me at spears.
I demand wings!
Take a spear to the knee...
oh and part of me died when I saw the words 'kinect shouts'
