Mass Effect Sung To The Tune Of "Still Alive"

Something about Commander Shepard must inspire people to sing. The latest musical tribute to Mass Effect's hero is also a nod to the popular finale of Portal.

YouTube user kJMediaOnline put together the impressive song/video, and it is full of entertaining references about Shepard and the plot of Mass Effect 1 and 2. I'm not going to ruin any of the jokes, so you should watch for yourself.

If you like that, you should rewatch this tribute to Shepard from last year, too. Maybe that's why people call stuff like Mass Effect and Star Wars "Space Operas."

  • Hahah not bad. Shoehorning extra syllables into the song kind of drives me crazy though.
  • Best Mass Effect song ever? Yeah I think so.

  • The next song is sung by the Turian Council member, "What's Shepard On?" sung to "Want You Gone"

  • Oh my god this is amazing!

  • Wow this is late to the party.

  • Nice.

  • Not gonna sugarcoat it: that was pretty bad.

  • This shows that Valve is awesome, in making things people "remember".
  • Shoot, I though it was "Stayin' Alive"...
  • Man, I need to finish Mass Effect.... The first is just super tedious, and I dropped it awhile ago. I should go back and complete it.
  • This was the best thing I have ever had the pleasure to witness.

  • Oh god that was too wierd. Lol

  • Wow... that was awesome. It's definitely a great way to get people even more hyped for Mass Effect 3. =D
