Disappointed! I was really looking forward to playing the first game.

Its a bad idea to release it as a PS2 classic anyway. Being that its a lone game and will not be able to be in a bundle, I say they should remaster it and release it for $15 in the Store like what was done with Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X.

I suppose the most logical conclusion to this would be that they are planning an HD remake for the game but still it is odd from Sony. Microsoft has the original Halo for download and that didn't stop them from releasing the remake. The again releasing the game and 3 or 6 months later throwing the hd doesn't sound like a good tactic.

Wouldnt buy this anyway. I could imagine this game not aging well, especially after 2 next generation sequels that blew out the original. I guess people want to play it for the story,

Sucks, this was the only KZ with a good story with humor and emotion, and interesting characters instead of an entire squad of macho morons. Also you could play as anyone in the squad.

I'd buy it if they released it as an HD upgrade for $15 or $20 for sure. However, I'd have no interest in buying it if they bundle all three together since I already own the last two.

People give the original Killzone a hard time for some reason but I really enjoyed it despite the terrible aiming controls.

Killzone Trilogy with Killzone 2 and 3 and and upscaled Killzone 1 with trophy support.  I'll put money down on it.

Yeah, I was wondering why I couldn't find it on the PSN store... like 5 times of checking.

This game was terrible. Actually the whole Killzone series is terrible. After playing Halo, Ghost Recon, Call of Duty, Gears of War and other shooters I realised how bad the Killzone series is. The only good about the series are the graphics.

Well that is very dissapointing.

I would love an hd version but if not ill be personally fine.
