Last year's tower defense style game for Xbox Live, PSN, and PC sold over one million copies, the publisher confirmed.

Speaking in a new interview with Joystiq, Reverb Publishing CEO Doug Kennedy said "It is tremendously successful franchise. We have lots of plans to support it both with DLC and additional add-ons for the franchise."

The game currently has three more planned DLC packs across all platforms in addition to "The Lost Eternia Shards: Mistymire Forest," which released in late December.

    Easily my favorite tower defense game! Glad to hear it's doing well. I am curious as to why the android version is free compared to the other versions being $15...

    This is good news since this is an amazing game. But one million downloads...if the game is 10$ (which i believe it is) then they just made 10million dollars...nice. There will most likely be a sequel.

    I guess I'm in the minority then. I hated this game. I like both the genre's it's trying to mash together, but couldn't stand the actual gameplay.

    Great news for a solid title. A red headed step child to the pc version as far as support and extra content is concerned but an amazing value at $15 or $10 on sale. Fingers crossed this leads to a sequel.

    It was an alright game in my opinion. Controls were fidgety. Hopefully this doesn't get as worn out as Angry Birds.

    I thought it was fun to watch, but unless I could find a couple friends also willing to buy it I wouldn't really pay for it

    Yet to pick up this game. I know it's solid, just haven't had time. Great to hear about its success.
