The sequel to Atlus’ tactical RPG is set to release on February 28. In preparation for that fateful day, the publisher has set up a website and released an official trailer. Hopefully, you know more than you did two sentences ago.

This new trailer sets up the game's story, gives us a glimpse at the game's hybrid mechanics, and demonstrates how players will interact with, level up, and grow closer to their party members. Check out the trailer below, or visit the game’s new official site here.

Well, I have no idea what just happened in that trailer. Never played a SMT game, so... Probably won't play this. Unless, somehow, I decide to give the series a shot and end up enjoying it, in which case I might get it, since it does look kind of cool. Wonder if they'll do a 3DS version.

Just out of curiosity, would a fan of the Persona 3 and 4 games for the Playstation 2 enjoy Devil Survivor games as well? I know they're slightly different, or they appear to be.

To be honest, I had no idea until just now that this game even existed. Hearing its coming out soon is wonderful news! Loved the original (hated the shim megami tensei game on DS that came after), so hopefully this one turns out like I expect it to

I stopped the trailer when it said at exactly 52 seconds... "Bid for demons in auction"... yeah I can't watch anymore. Its interesting but just too crazy. And crazy in a BAD way.

I would just like to say that is NOT how boobs work. Games and anime have a long and storied history of unrealistic breasts, but pointing UP? Really? I hope this doesn't catch on with any other artists and those at Atlus are not signifying their new artistic trend. If so their games will, at least for me, go down in memory as more of a humorous affair than a memorable one. That is a time I don't look forward to.

Overclocked took me 96 hours to get through, I assume this will be about the same. I'm trying to get through SMT Strange Journey right now before this gets released. Glad it's on the regular DS so I can use my DSI-XL. I'll miss the voice acting though. It was awesome with headphones.
