Final Fantasy XIII-2 Will Have Facebook Integration

As you experience Square Enix's latest RPG, you'll be able to share your progress with your friends on Facebook.

In a press release, Square Enix revealed that the company is integrating Facebook features into Final Fantasy XIII-2. Players who are members of the ubiquitous social network will be able to post their Xbox Live Achievements and PSN Trophies to Facebook as they earn them in the game.

Later, after you're able to use the Historia Crux (an in-game portal that allows you to travel to different areas and time periods), you can upload information about your game to Facebook, "including current party setup, monsters collected, battle scores and more."

    i really think this is a cool feature. its nice to be able to brag without effort. hopefully more games do this. it is kinda like free advertisement...

    Facebook integration huh? Not as bad as I thought it'd be, but kind of pointless. I doubt people on my Facebook care about my party setup, and trophy posting has been on PSN for a long time now. Maybe this'll be big in Japan, they're more social and more in to this type of game. I just really don't see it being anything special here in the U.S.

    I don't know about achievements but isn't it able to do that already with trophies when it's syncing them?

    1st comment! And I'm glad that facebook is getting integrated into the game. Now I can brag to my cousin who I compete against who can beat the game 100% first :D

    They already have trophy/achievement updates for facebook and the game data integration sounds neat but wouldn't matter to me cause im only 1 of 2 people in my city that plays final fantasy.
