Skyrim User Creation Kit Coming Soon

Bethesda has announced that a user creation kit for Skyrim will be available soon for PC on Steam.

This is great news for players who want to dive into what appears to be a very complicated set of tools for making their own version of Skyrim.

The creation tools will include Steam Workshop support, which will make uploading and sharing your creations much simpler than actually building them.

The mods that have already come from the community for Skyrim have been pretty staggering. I can't wait to see what players dream up now that they have software for the express purpose of playing around with the Skyrim code. Check out the video below for some more information.

I've been waiting for this. If there isn't already a decent one floating around, I want to create a mod where you can use the arcane enchanter to disenchant scrolls so that you can then create your own scrolls by using rolls of paper and charcoal. I was thinking I could use soul gems as the variable to decide how many copies of the scroll you will receive; the stronger the soul gem, the more scrolls. I was personal just thinking this would be pretty cool to have in the game for myself.

I don´t see why would people want to use steam workshop when there is nexus.First steam workshop owns everything you upload there even if you create it yourself, second it wont tell you if there is problems between mods nor does it care what´s dumping into your data file.Steam workshop looks a bit dangerous if you ask me and from what I see it most people don´t care about this workshop nor will use it.If you want best mods for skyrim go to skyrimnexus.
