Magic: The Gathering iOS App Available Now

Wizards of the Coast have released a Magic The Gathering app for iOS devices. It's not a multiplayer Magic The Gathering game, but it will let you manage your deck, among other things.

The app functions as a life counter, allows you to build decks, research cards, and find out more about nearby Magic events. The app also includes a Randomizer which can be used in place of flipping a coin or rolling a die.

You can find out more about the app, and download it by clicking here.

  • Looks pretty neat. Well, at least to me it does. :P
  • Just give me a portable multiplayer magic game.

  • I downloaded this earlier this afternoon, already one of my favorite apps. I'm going to lose too much time on my itouch now >.>
  • Just 1 word. Pointless

  • Not sure about Magic. I did get into Yu-Gi-Oh! back when I was smaller though :P
  • sounds awesome. shame no MP but hey! it's still fun

  • I haven't thought about Magic in a long time. I should try to get back into that
  • Oh freakin hooray. I'm so glad that Wizards took the time to make this instead of interrupting the wait for MTGO on Mac. Thanks alot Wizards.[/sarcasm]

  • If I had an iOS device I would get the app. MTG is probably the best card game, although since by the looks of the comments more people are Yu Gi Oh fans are don't care about MTG as much on Gameinformer, I am not going to say anything else in this comment.
  • Never been a real fan of card games, but this looks alraight.

  • Awww, I got all excited for a playable game to make plane flights all that more bearable. dang.
  • Oh sweet. I wonder if my local FNM store will be listed.

  • Haven't used it all that much yet but I like what I see so far.

  • Nerds on the go!

  • Only for a the hardcore MTG players I think.

Like the folks that are commuting on a bus and are thinking up magic decks.
