Square Enix Brings Deus Ex & More To GOG.com

Old PC game revivalists GOG.com have announced a partnership with Square Enix – the first fruits of which are Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition and Hitman: Codename 47.

The titles will be offered for $9.99 and $5.99, respectively, and per GOG practice they will be DRM free, optimized for current hardware set-ups, and come with bonuses. In the case of Deus Ex it's a free soundtrack, two HD wallpapers, avatar, and more. Hitman: Codename 47 comes with four HD wallpapers, two reference cards, four avatars, and other goodies.

GOG says that there are also other Square Enix titles, which will soon be announced.

Oooh, maybe Final Fantasy VII will come back officially for PC and I won't have to resort to buying a copy from eBay for like $300 and find it doesn't even work. :@

I love Deus Ex. Now is a good time to pick this up if you haven't. Specifically those that only played Human Revolution. It's worth it.

I am tempted to get these even though I grabbed the publisher pack from Steam this Christmas. I really want to support the DRM free way of digital publishing.

the first deus ex was one of my all time favorite games. love it. this game deffiantly deserves to be remade.

wait a tick, why is there a Red Faction screenshot on news story for Deus Ex and Hitman? the red wrist is the mining gear, that's an Ultor guard, and that's the RF flamethrower. btw, i still have the GI with the cover story for the first Red Faction and i can see my copy of the game from where i'm sitting.
