Netflix Drops Game Rental Plans
Movie rental and streaming company Netflix has announced that it is stopping previously announced plans to rent video games by mail.
The company had previously announced that it would be offering game rentals at the same time it stated its intention to split its physical and streaming movie rental services. Eventually this plan was dropped, and now it looks like renting games is also joining it on the scrap heap.
So the next time Netflix announces something, best to take it with a grain of salt.
