I haven't kept up on Halo's expanded universe fiction, but I'm assuming the gold spartan is some kind of space traveling playboy who makes his money selling flood insurance (Get it? That's a Ben Reeves joke). Square Enix's Play Arts Kai action figure is also apparently made out of gold, as Toy Ark reports it will retail for $55 when it streets in July. This figure comes with a pistol (pictured) and a rocket launcher (hopefully made out of gold).
