Ocarina Of Time Recreated In Minecraft

Ever wanted to explore Hyrule without all those pesky puzzles?

According to the creators, the project took nine months. You can check out their website by clicking the link. It's an impressive feat, and it doesn't end at just having a cuboid version of Hyrule to play around in.

"The [Hyrule Craft] team hopes to have a completed server ready later this year which will include a unique Minecraft MMO experience including quests, NPCs, dungeons, free build zones, guilds, and more of the classic Minecraft stuff you know and love."

Sounds interesting.

  • WOAH! (And first)
  • Now I want Minecraft even more....but I'll wait, I have a backlog to deal with...-.-

  • this is pretty sick, i seen someone remake link's village from ocarina of time in halo reach too
  • and i still dont have minecraft.... well at least i have terraria (2D minecraft) :D
  • Impressive.... most impressive
  • That is amazing.

  • I really want to burn it all to the ground
  • Late this was on Zelda Dungeon a yesterday
  • I can literally see myself running around as Link in each of those shots...

  • My only complaint about Minecraft is the fact that it runs on Java. That one thing has prohibited myself and a lot of people I know from enjoying the game. It's just weird that I can run the actual Ocarina of Time on an emulator perfectly, but this even less graphically impressive game is impossible to run on my computer, even on lowest possible settings.

This still looks really cool, though.
  • Next make a world of warcraft one
  • wow.

  • It's cool someone recreated it, but... Nothing compares to Ocarina of Time, it's the best game ever.
  • What I find to be the funniest thing about this is that graphically Minecraft and OOT - even the gamecube revamp - aren't that far off from each other in terms of environmental detail.

Gosh we've come a long way since 1998.

  • This is just CRAZY amazing

  • Does anyone else find it funny that, when games like Minecraft and LittleBigPlanet give gamers myriad tools to express their creativity in inumerable ways, the first things they'll make are copies of old video games that everyone has played to death?
  • Looks pretty close to the original, graphically speaking. The draw distance is way better though, haha.
  • thats pretty cool. Hey kyle is this also proof of half life 3? because it has pixels and pixels are evidence of half life 3

  • This is great! I made my rendition of Hyrule castle and The great Deku tree...took FOREVER - didn't do it in creative mode :)

  • Finally, a way to play the Legend of Zelda without any puzzles and being able to destroy everything I want to! Perfect!
