Along with introducing a new partner for Shepard to shepherd around the galaxy, this video feature also introduces the actor who will be playing him.

James Vega seems like a pretty standard hard-headed marine, but I am sure he's hiding a dark past or an embarrassing tattoo that will get expanded upon during a mission in Mass Effect 3. Prinze probably wouldn't have been most people's first choice to play a muscular military dude, but he seems genuinely passionate about Mass Effect. And more importantly, he seems to get what makes Mass Effect great. He does insist on calling Shapard's partners, "henchmen," though, which is a little odd.

Oh, and by the way Freddie, you're not a nerd. You just like good sci-fi stories.

I like how excited and enthusiastic Prinze is about the series. His voice work sounds pretty cool, too. I hope they fix the dead eyes on Shepard that are on full display during that boxing match, but it still looks great.

Pretty cool little interview, I'm glad to see they got some more celebrity talent to do the voice-work and that little boxing match between Shepard and Vega looks like a fitting way to introduce the character.

that little clip of space combat in the vid got me excited!!!

if there is i hope its implemented well like Halo: Reach. I wouldn't want the space combat to handle like SWTOR... there's just something unsatisfying about it, especially since mass effect is *** epic!!!
