The lights are on
On April 25, Mass Effect fans, who I suspect will be on their third or fourth playthrough of Mass Effect 3 by that time, have something new to look forward to. On this day, Dark Horse and Mass Effect 3's lead writer Mac Walters are kicking off a new Mass Effect comic book series called Homeworlds. Each of this series' issues focuses on a different character, which I' guessing will mostly be Shepard's squad mates. The first issue highlights James Vega, one of Shepard's newest allies and a character I fully expect to hate through most of Mass Effect 3 solely for his stupid haircut.
No announcements for future issues have been made yet, but if Mac Walters is out there listening, I would love to read more about Mordin, the greatest singer in the universe.
Email the author Andrew Reiner, or follow on Twitter, Facebook, and Game Informer.
Cool i liked the other mass effect comics so i will most likely get it when it comes out.
James Vega sucks, Garrus Vakarian is the best character (Just saying). I'll probably get these comics, since the ME3 Collector's Edition brings the Invasion comic book.
I'm hoping James Vega is supposed to be a naive, but nuanced character that looks and thinks like a lot of the current day soldiers do: the "broski" style. And through the course of the game, Shepard helps him mature out of that broski-mindset and mature.
Or he could be a complete ponce designed to appeal to one of the 84 new demographics that BioWare's trying to appeal to with the third game. Guess we'll see.
there's a galaxy to save and you kids are complaining about a haircut.
you have one guess to tell me what's wrong with this picture.
I wonder how the ladies will react to Sheperd's hairdo.
He was the very model of a scientist salarian.
SO the bro gets first dibs. Hmmmm... Seems nice, but the Prize....
I can't wait to see what they do with Jacob, one of my favorite characters.
Shepard, Commander Fauxhawk looks uneasy, maybe you should utilize him as an expository device for people that didn't play the last two games.
Same here, I really don't expect to like Vega, maybe I'll do his loyalty mission if there is such a thing in Mass Effect 3, but if he turns out the way he looks, then I'm leaving him behind. Or get him killed. >=)
Is that a Blue Suns' armor? Or just another shelved character
