The lights are on
Developer Remedy revealed the PC version of Alan Wake hits Steam next month.
The team answered additional questions surrounding the PC version in a newly published FAQ. Remedy says there will not be a demo of the PC version and that the game supports keyboard and mouse controls in addition to the Xbox 360 controller.
Remedy hasn't confirmed a specific release date or price just yet. Head over to the FAQ below for more details.

That's a neat suprise. Steam release too! I genuinely wanted a 360 for this game (and Forza 4) but now... No point. :)
Yes!
sweet! oh wait. i don't have a gaming pc.
I can't believe I still have yet to play this game. I need to change that.
Woohoo! Good on your promise Remedy.
My 2010 GotY. Brilliant game in every way. :)
Loved this atmospheric head twist of a game on the xbox. And knowing that its just about released on pc is ace news. Im getting it anyhows, better visuals, better frame rates! I did notice stuttering frames as the xbox could barely handle the sweet graphics along side the amazing lighting effects.
I see this as a win for pc gamers, great game now made even greater. Thanks Remedy ;)
I may get it
Never really aroused my interest when it first came out, but I will check it out on Steam eventually for sure.
Well, it's about time!
How good is this game?
I may just have to pick this up when it comes out.
This is great news!! I was unable to play this game due to an absence of a 360, but I watched the entire thing on YT in a let's play (RadBrad - awesome commentator btw, along with SSoH) and it was hella awesome, can't wait to play this.
This is great, I'm definitely picking this up eventually. It always seemed like a cool game and I enjoyed playing it at a friend's house (since I don't have a 360), so assuming it's a good port this will be good.
They might as well just wait for American Nightmare to release and package it with this
