The lights are on
Bethesda has released the patch notes for its latest Skyrim update, v1.4.
On a blog post on the company's website, Bethesda says the upcoming patch for Skyrim is currently undergoing testing on all three platforms and hopes to have it finalized next week and submit it for certification on consoles and release on PC.
"Our current update plan for the PC is to first release our updates as 'beta' versions through Steam," they said. "This is something you’ll be able to opt into through Steam and back-out of if needed. This is an extra safety check for everyone going forward and should expedite and improve our updating process for our PC users. We’ll have more info soon on how this will work."
Bethesda said it will continue looking into issues being reported and will release additional updates in the future. "You have all supported Skyrim in a huge way, and we’ll be supporting all of you, and continue to make the game better."
Below are the fixes planned for v1.4:

Interesting to know that entering the house before you fully upgraded it was the problem with displays and wall mounts.
Now this is a patch. Keep up the good work Bethesda!
Yes, number 2 bug was driving me crazy.
Its funny I play on PS3 and have experienced very few of these. The ones I I have seen are occasional or rare.
The most necessary fix is for quests failing to start properly and their related items being stuck in the inventory if they're found before the pertinent quest has started. The changelog seems to address one or two of these but I don't understand why it's not fixed as a general problem.
So far none of this has happend to me.
ok now that theyr pretty much done with all the fixing theyll have time to focus on releasing the first dlc.
does that mean you can't use the oghma infinuim
Great
Looks like they're fixing one of two bad glitches I've encountered (becoming Thane of Riften). Luckily having to get them a couple of months late meant that I avoided the worst of it.
It's so annoying worrying that if you clear a dungeon you'll screw up a later quest.
YES! I can finally go back into the thalmor embassy! I've wanted that for a while. And while I think the infinite bookshelf loop might destory the Oghma Infinium glutch, it needed to be done. I just hope I can start "A Night To Remember" so I can get the Oblivion Walker achievement.
Yay for weapon racks!
Skyrim starting to look good now.
I'm taking a break from Skyrim, because I already got tired of it and I don't feel like doing a new game. I'll just wait for Mass Effect 3 in the meantime.
Before this release peple are all happy with great hopes that this is it... fter this patch people will get mad because this patch broke something big XDXDXD
You know I never really had a problem with the game on PS3. Then one day I walked out of a cave and backwards flying dragon attacked me (the best it could.) that was the only bug I've really had, maybe a lag here or there. Glad the Patches keep coming! Waiting for some DLC!!!!
wow.
Thats a LOT of fixes for a SECOND update, not to mention the 1st update.
Still,i love me some Skyrim!!!!!
Good to see some fixes coming our way.
•In “Blood on the Ice”, Calixto can now be killed if player owns a house in Windhelm.
Yes. Now i wont have a guy trying to kill me every time I walk in my house.
