The lights are on
Bomberman creator Hudson Soft will be dissolved and absorbed into parent company Konami, according to a report.
Andriasang has translated a Japanese filing which states that Hudson Soft will be no more on March 1. Last year Konami bought out the company and assigned it to develop mobile titles for the publisher.
At this time it's unknown what will become of Hudson Soft properties like Bomberman and Bonk, but we imagine that they would easily carry on seeing as how Konami already owns the company to begin with.

Being absorbed is better than being outright close. I'm sure some people will still lose their jobs though.
Well that's a shame. I'm rather tired of all the larger game companies absorbing and buying each other out. All it does is eventually kill franchises and creativity.
I will miss their name and their bee.
At least they aren't all being fired. Positives, people.
If they didn't make the newest Bomberman failure then yes, this is sad news.
no more bomberman :( but i loves him
Well at least they aren't all getting layed off or anything, hopefully their devs will go on to help with Konami's great titles...
This is sad news. They made great games and I have always supported them. Fun Fact: They made a John Madden Football game for the TurboGrafx Cd system. I had a blast playing it with my friend. Long live Bonk!
Never liked that weird bee logo
Milon's Secret Castle - For this adventure I will remember H.S. always.
dissolved doesn't necessarily mean jobs lost, but still sad.
LOL
Getting bought by a big company never was the brightest idea.
