4-Player Co-op Syndicate Demo Incoming

Fans looking to take EA's Syndicate reboot for a spin before it releases next month can do so soon.

The publisher released a new video today saying a 4-player co-op demo is coming for a limited time this month to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. "The Cayman Global Syndicate is trying to steal shares from your Western Europe market -- it's time to teach them that business is war," EA says of the demo. "In the 4-player co-op demo, team-up and battle for market dominance and your life as you infiltrate and eliminate the competition."

Syndicate releases for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on February 21, 2012. Check out the new trailer below.

I'm looking forward to this game, and it's really cool that they decided to release a demo that's playable with 4 people. Also, is it bad if I liked the music as well? :P

Coop demos are always fun. Either the game itself is fun, or you can laugh at it with friends!

I have considerably low expectations of this game, and I am a person who would list the original "Syndicate" as one of my top ten games of all-time. The original "Syndicate" world was a gritty cyberpunk urban jungle where strategy played a large part in successfully completing the mission. This remake looks altogether too futuristic, and is likely to be dumbed down for the FPS crowd. I am so excited, however, to see the direction "X-Com" (another top ten classic) has taken in shedding it's original conception as an FPS to bring us back into the world of turn-based strategy. Unfortunately, I can't see the same adherence to the source material with "Syndicate", although I am flattered that both games are being revisited.

Terrible music, but I'll give the demo a shot. I can at least pretend I'm playing the old games..

On a side note, the original Syndicate is released on GoG.com today. (Thursday, 19th)

I'm very happy that there will be a demo for this, I've tried not to get falsely hyped over this game, can't wait to try it.
It looks like, at best, Deus Ex: Human Revolution: where-all-the-gun-battle-polish-went-to. If the action is as good as it looks, I'd be happy with just that though.

Looks cool, but might be stupid. Kind of like brink; looked amazing but was actually not fun and was a piece of junk. I have high hopes though.
