Soul Calibur Coming Soon To IPhone

Soul Calibur V is coming to consoles at the end of the month, but that's not the only interesting development for the franchise. Namco Bandai has revealed that a port of the Dreamcast and arcade game Soul Calibur is coming to iOS in just a few days.

There's no word on pricing, but you'll find out what it costs soon enough. The game's due out for download on the App Store starting January 19. Andriasang says the port will include the full 19-character roster and (deep breath) arcade battle, time attack, survival, extra survival, practice, and museum modes.

As long as Voldo is in the game, I'm completely satisfied. I mean, just look at the guy.

    Never played the original Soul Calibur before. Might have to get it, just to be nostalgic over the fact that it was a Dreamcast game.

    Voldo is my favorite character by far.  Sophitia's my best, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for Voldo.

    How do you play a fighting game without buttons? Tell me. Touch screens aren't exactly accurate when it comes to... well anything. But trying to play a fighting game which is all about timing and button combos? Not gonna work.

    the best version still remains the dreamcast as it is still unmatch by even the hd remake..man i love the game on my dc

    Wow, Voldo has legs that just keep going on forever!  He's like 6' tall with a 1/2' torso.
