Knowledge Is Power For The Secret World's Illuminati

The Illuminati is a pretty busy organization. When it's not manipulating governments, tweaking the economy, or secretly announcing its intentions via Jay-Z, it has to thwart a supernatural threat. And if a new trailer from Funcom's upcoming MMO The Secret World is any indication, it's accepting new members.

Check out the trailer below to see what candidates have to look forward to. If you're into being a smarty-pants with magic powers and a cool jumpsuit, this could be the organization for you.

When you've soaked it all up (and concocted the group's bizarre signature cocktail), read through our impressions of the game.

  • First I guess... but anyway, I've never even heard of this before. Has anyone else?
  • *Looks around suspiciously* They're everywhere man! Everywhere I tell you!!
  • KILLUMINATI

  • Illuminati has somehow captured the interest of far to many people, and too many nuts actually believe they have and hold power, but this does look kind of interesting, kind of.

  • Tupac knows

  • When I hear Illuminati I think Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
  • For a secret organization they sure are well known.
  • This looks interesting.  Something different and entertaining.  Seeing women tearing crap up is so empowering for me.

  • whats up with the dudes coins?

  • George Bush is actually an extraterrestrial reptilian who has been seen to shapeshift. In 1999, an interview with an anonymous source revealed that 33 other Presidents have shared the reptilian bloodline from France and Great Britain. Actually beliefs
  • How does EA keep track of all these publications

  • j-z whats he doing nowadays.
  • I still don't know much about the gameplay, but it's definitely getting more interesting.

  • The Illuminati does not exist, or does it?! muhahhAHahahahh

  • This doesn't look like an MMO.

  • This looks like a very intriguing title. I'm not sure if I'll get it though. It's almost intriguing to the point of weird.

  • Illuminati cocktail? i'll be at the bar.

  • There was an Illuminati card game back in the day, which some people will tell you actually predicted some events that have happened lately. I wonder if they'll include anything like that in this game. The "Illuminati" is just a trigger word used to describe the scum bags who feel like they belong to these "ancient mystery schools" (men who attend their spiritually insecure Lodges, who also make up most of the people portayed in our world politicks) and have a better understanding of how to run the lives of the "sheeple" (Henry Kissinger likes to call us "useless eaters"). From Crackdown's "Problem, Reaction, Solution" story line, to in my opinion, Assassin's Creed script directly ripped from the "Ancient Astronaut" theory (Erik von Daniken's "Chariot's of the Gods?", Zecharia Sitchin's "Annunaki") , these subjects have been appearing in games for a while now (Guns of Patriots, anyone?). If you have an open and skeptical mind, reasearch / read about the follwing: The CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) The Trilateral Commission The NDAA (which they approved while everyone was partying for New Years) Behold a Pale Horse (William Cooper) The Godes of Eden (William Bramley) The Creature from Jekyll Island : A Second Look at the Federal Reserve The Rothschild / Rockefeller banking families / cartels Operation Northwoods Gulf of Tonkin Incident JFK's infamous "secret society speech" A recent documentary titled (Thrive: The World is Waking Up) Websites like: Vigilant Citizen, Educate-Yourself.org ...and that's just the tip of the pyramid...er...I mean iceberg. "Skepticism, because without skepticism, you cannot convert belief into knowledge" "Go back to bed America, your government has everything under control.."
  • So now the Illuminati have to stop a supernatural threat? WTF?

  • Anyone know wtf is is going on in this trailer?
