PS Vita, 3DS Go Head To Head In Marathon Battery Test
If you're curious to know which of the latest handhelds, the PS Vita or Nintendo's 3DS, has the greatest battery life, you're not alone. YouTube user kurekureyon took your curiosity one step further, however, pitting system versus system in two marathon gaming sessions. Check out the video for the results.
Both handhelds were tweaked to ensure the most battery life. As Kotaku points out, systems had their screens dimmed, volume minimized, wi-fi disabled, and, in the case of the 3DS, 3D effect shut off. Then the timer was started and kurekureyon raced lap after lap in F1 2011 on each system. Check out the results below in a handy side-by-side presentation, thankfully sped up. And then breathe a sigh of relief knowing that because someone else did this, you're off the hook.
