The lights are on
[Update] Sony confirmed to Game Informer it will release Killzone on PlayStation Network. The game will cost $9.99 and release on January 24. This is a port of the original PlayStation 2 title. ------------------------------------------[Original Story] It seems the first Killzone title will soon be making its way to PlayStation 3. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board recently published a rating for the game for PS3, which typically signals its eventual release. It's unlikely this is a complete "remaster" of the original PlayStation 2 version, but instead simply a digital title of the original available through PlayStation Network. Sony began selling PlayStation 2 titles last October through its "Only on PSN" program. We reached out to SCEA for additional information and we'll update this post if we hear back.

Sold! Easily my fav fps of all-time! I'd gladly pay $60 for an HD remake
excellant game, i would gladly buy a remaster/remade version of this game, I LOVE BLASTING SPACE NAZIS!! ITS EVEN BETTER THEN BLASTING REGULAR NAZIS!
Great!Right?
meh
Not remastered? Pass.
I'm glad to see Killzone ported. I always wanted to try out the original.
I know there are plenty who complain about it but it's still one of my faves between what I think was a compelling story, solid controls and some of the best art design of any sci-fi tale in any medium in a long time.
I wish it was in HD..
wow really thats cool got to get it
Too bad it's not a remake/remaster. Then they could at least fix that broken AI. Oh well. It's a great way for people who don't have a PS2/PS2-capable PS3 to experience the game. I loved it when I first played it, and I still have my retail copy.
If it's the same exact thing as the original, then this is a disappointment. The original one was annoying to play. However, if they've fixed the glitches and tweaked the controls, then I many consider getting this.
Killzone 1 was comically bad, in my opinion. I felt I wasted $50 when I bought it on day 1.
Finally! I was kind of hoping for an HD remaster... but this will definitely do. =)
