Star Wars TV Series Gets A Name
IGN caught up with Star Wars producer Rick McCallum to chat about the film Red Tails, but along the way asked some questions about the long-in-Limbo Star Wars live-action TV series.
The as-yet unfilmed storyline will be focused on the criminal underbelly of Star Wars society, and McCallum claims the series is currently moving forward under the working title of Star Wars: Underworld.
How soon might we get to see bounty hunters trafficking the fringes of Star Wars society, and the inevitable video game tie-ins that would come along with such a show? Don't hold your breath. Though the series has 50 scripted episodes already complete, numerous financial challenges are yet to be conquered, not to mention finding an avenue for where the series would air.
