Assassin's Creed Revelations Multiplayer DLC Incoming

Assassin's Creed Revelations is getting a hunk of multiplayer downloadable content this month.

The Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack adds six new maps to the Revelations multiplayer experience, including player-requested Italian maps from Brotherhood.

The three maps span the following famous locations:

  • Constantinople (not Istanbul)
  • Dyers
  • Jerusalem

The Brotherhood maps come in the following Italian Renaissance flavors:

  • Florence
  • San Donato
  • Siena

The Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack for Assassin's Creed Revelations comes out January 24th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Xbox owners can pay 800 Microsoft points, while ten U.S. dollars can be exchanged for ownership of the DLC on PS3 and PC.

  • I'm torn. I actually like AC multiplayer, but I could never fully get behind map packs. Still, to be honest, I may end up getting it anyway.

  • 3 new maps and 3 recycled ones.... for 10 bucks?!
  • I'll probably end up buying it, and the Ancestor's Character pack, too.

  • I've barely played Revelations. It has fallen victim to my recently diagnosed "Backlogitis".
  • Since Brotherood, the story keeps getting cliché and the setting keeps losing depth. Add it to the formula of annual release, and you get almost all of the efforts away from developing the plot, just to keep making easy cash with hollow content like these DLC's. So I can only blame for this, as much as like it, the Multiplayer. It's impossible as it is now, and it's just my opinion, but I'd not like to see a multiplayer mode in the next game.
  • nice i still need to get use to the multiplayer im a huge fan of AC ill definitely will get this map pack.

  • I have not even touched this game yet. I want to so bad but I have so many other games that I am playing right now. Until I finish some I am afraid it will remain on my shelf. :/

  • Awesome! Now I just need to get the game...

  • Eh...I traded Revelations in shortly after beating the single-player campaign. While the multiplayer certainly is a unique and fresh take on the genre, like Brotherhood, I just got turned off to its emphasis on competitive gameplay. I will admit that Revelations' multiplayer had much better pacing and balance than Brotherhood's did, but until they add in some cooperative ranked options, I won't be sold on investing any significant amount of time into the multiplayer.
  • DLC is the worst thing that has happened to gaming in the last decade.  Just put it in the original game.  Otherwise its rarely ever worth the extra money you are paying.  How are 6 maps worth $10 if the whole game was only worth $60?

  • The next Call of Duty.

  • I am a fan of Assassin's Creed and I enjoy the multiplayer but I am not fond of paying for extra maps in a game in which my focus is the single player. I understand that adding storyline DLC to game that completes a storyline is tough but I am disheartened by the new multiplayer focus while the overall single player experience is suffering rather than improving.
  • I still half to get the last dlc pack.Cant wait for this one gald there bring more brotherhood maps back.        Look me up on XBL if you want to play aginst me im lvl 40 in revalations.

  • YES! I loved Siena!

  • its nice for those that play the multiplayer  i personaly don't care for it too uch altho its not bad so i wont be getting this :/

  • I know this is against the laws of economics since the multiplayer is no longer an experimental venture and people are definitely going to belt out cash money to have these add-ons...  But how awesome would it be if AC brought back their "lets just give them a crap load of free content for a while" policy...

    Also, I miss the priest...

  • I wish DLC would come out for more than just multiplayer. I'm not a huge fan of online experiences, but I would gladly "exchange ten U.S. dollars for ownership of" (hilarious wording in your article, Adam) story mode DLC with this game.

  • This game was such a disappointment...

  • LOL paying for the new maps I understand but paying for 3 brotherhood maps is just stealing  XDXD Naughty dog is worse charging 10 euros for 4 UC2 maps.
