Collector's editions have been a boon for people suffering from Empty Shelf Syndrome, and it appears as though Sega and Gearbox have a new dose in the works. A French website has posted an image purportedly showing the Aliens: Colonial Marines collector's edition, which adds a tiny li'l powerloader exosuit battling a xenomorph, extra game mode, and more.

If the package is genuine, players will be able to score that resin model; a USCM dossier; in-game flamethrower and smartgun multiplayer weapons; a pulse-rifle upgrade; and an exclusive firing-range mode. It looks like a lot of loot, if indeed it's legit. We've reached out to Sega to see if it is real, and to find out pricing info if it is.

This is going to be awesome if it ever actually comes out. Gamestop had the release day as 2013, unless that was a mistake. Wouldn't surprise me, it's been delayed forever.

My guess is that it will be over $80....and that means waaaaaaayyyy overpriced! I won't spend more than $80 on a video game.

Dam this game, its been on my radar since the GI cover story....in 2008! Want to play this bad especially after the AvP really disappointed me.

Definitely excited for this. I usually don't buy collectors editions, but this one looks like it might be well worth it.

This game looks pretty cool, and I even checked out a gameplay trailer on PSN. The only turn off about this game is there is no "aim down sights". I'm sorry but that seems to be a must in FPS's now a days, and might be the reason why I don't buy it. I never really like Halo for the same reason.
