Limit Your XBLA Avatar's Life Prospects With Tattoos

If your Xbox 360's Avatar has been pleading with you for a tattoo for what seems like an eternity, now you can get him off your back. Tattoos are now available on the Avatar Marketplace, letting you express your individuality from a series of templates. It's just like real life, only without the needles!

The tats will set you back between two and three bucks, depending upon how elaborate your needs are. Interestingly enough, the simple Mom in a heart design is more expensive than a set of full-on sleeves. And unfortunately there aren't any facial options or hand options at this point. C'mon, Microsoft! I want the world to know how much I enjoy Drake!

  • My Avatar will get to ruin his chances for a job? What happens when they release XBLA jobs?! I'M SCREWED, THAT'S WHAT!
  • Whoa, someone else is posting an article instead of Kyle?!?!?!
  • Yeah no thanks. I still can't understand why anyone would want to spend any amount of money on their avatar in the first place.
  • Aw that's not very nice Jeff. I have a tattoo sleeve, and I'm an HR manager. I have to wear button downs everyday so it has never been an issue.
  • So is this compensation for taking away my avatar guns?
  • I'm still waiting for nipple piercings.
  • Wow.

  • Great, now you can make your Avatars even more d-baggy than before. Beyond the impossible.
  • Cool! I just absolutely love wasting my money on digital items that in no way affect the games I play, or me directly!!
  • The lowest of the low.

  • Sigh, and I thought the Jersey Shore avatar items were enough....

  • What, no neck tatoos?
  • "Limit Your XBLA Avatar's Life Prospects With Tattoos" What kind of a headline is this? Hey some people have lots of tattoos and have very good career/jobs. Maybe your editors should read a little more into your work before you post it and offend a large part of the population. ***!
  • So guns are bad, but tattoo's are not?
  • avatar tattoos and their real life contrerparts don't ruin job chances unless the tattoos are in inappropriate places or of inappropriate subject matter

  • But guns aren't allowed?

  • Sorry but I already gave my avatar a guitar and a pup.
  • Why is the prevailing conversation in the comments about how tattoos are bad and equivalent to guns? I don't agree with the whole banning gun things, but is it really appropriate to compare said ban to tattoos?

  • For only 3 dollars, you can tell the world that you're unemployed and forever will be.
  • Ever heard of virtual ink poisoning?
